Over the past couple of years, Fort Wayne video guy Porch Moon has been critical in DNN's coverage of area events, including May's two-track Spring Roll tournament, last weekend's Windy City vs. Rocky Mountain bout, and any number of other bouts in Chicago and throughout Indiana.

Over the past couple of years, Fort Wayne video guy Porch Moon has been critical in DNN's coverage of area events, including May's two-track Spring Roll tournament and last weekend's Windy City vs. Rocky Mountain bout. At the afterparty for that bout, some Really Bad Person broke Rule 0 and stole approximately $2,500 of computers and video equipment out of Porch's car.

Tonight, the Arizona Derby Dames will be skating the banked track at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It will be the banked track debut of the Bombshells, a team hoping to break the \quot;3-year curse\quot; losing streak. It may be tough against the Brutal Beauties. Also, the season favorite School Yard Scrappers will take on the Runaway Brides. Also tonight, join Michi-chan at the first general public bout for Desert Dolls Roller Derby where the Cosmic Killas will take on the Shotgun Shirleys. This bout will be at the intimate Castle Sports Club. We\'ll see you there!

The 2010 Dust Devil that was just held in Tucson was not a tournament, per se. It was more of an opportunity for teams to play each other including three sanctioned bouts. It was a beautiful opportunity for new leagues like Northern Arizona Roller Derby to get some experience bouting different teams as they develop. I wanted to see how each team did using the same formula that I used for the Michi-chan Power Rankings, a system that I had used to rank the home teams from the different leagues in Arizona on a combined ranking. It\'s a method that rewards wins and uses point spread to widen or narrow the margin of points given. Based on the ranking formula, here\'s how I would rank each participating team in the Dust Devil: 1. Duke City Derby +178.33 2. Tucson Roller Derby* +87.56 3. Pacific Roller Derby +61.33 4.
